The Duo Behind The Scenes:

We’re Darren & Shannon, the husband-and-wife duo behind Woolpack on Wheels.

With a shared passion for exceptional hospitality and unforgettable food, Woolpack on Wheels was born from our desire to take what we do best beyond the pub doors and out to events near and far.

Darren is a fully qualified chef by trade, with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. After branching out as a publican more than 16 years ago, he has built a reputation for quality food, consistency, and great service — an experience that now underpins everything we serve on the road.

Shannon is a fully qualified Hospitality Manager, with hospitality woven into her personal journey from the very start. Beginning her career at just 13 years old, she now brings 17 years of varied industry experience, ensuring every event runs smoothly and every guest feels looked after.

Woolpack on Wheels was created from our mutual love of great hospitality, delicious food, and a vision to share the outstanding reputation we’ve built at The Woolpack Inn, Islip, with a wider audience. Whether it’s a wedding, party, or festival, we bring the same care, quality, and passion you’d expect from our pub — just on wheels.

Mobile Fully Stocked Bar

Our fully stocked mobile bar is ready to serve a wide range of drinks to suit every guest. For beer lovers, we also offer the option of draught beer, poured fresh from our brand-new kegerator.

Neapolitan-Inspired Stone Baked Pizza

Authentic, flavour-packed pizzas made fresh to order. Our Neapolitan-inspired dough is cooked at high temperatures in state-of-the-art Gozney pizza ovens for that perfect light, crispy finish.

Locally Supplied Hog Roasts

Slow-cooked, succulent hog roasts using locally sourced pork, served with all the classic trimmings — a real crowd-pleaser for any occasion.

Attractive Converted Horsebox

Our stylishly converted horsebox isn’t just a serving station — it’s a centrepiece. Rustic, charming, and full of character, it adds a unique visual touch to any event.
